Notice the weight of your body, where it meets the floor, and rest.
Feel the sensation of the breath, moving in and out of the body.
As you breathe, allow the body to soften, and the muscles to release.
Imagine speaking to yourself with kindness, understanding, and compassion.
Notice the areas of tension, and offer them kindness, and gentle care.
As you continue to breathe, remember that you are doing the best you can.
When you notice self-criticism, gently say to yourself, I am sorry, please forgive me.
Take a moment to notice your fingers and toes, and the sensation of your body in space.
When you are ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in.
