For five minutes, nothing is required of you. We are here to pause, find what fits, and speak it warmly without adding more.

Let the sounds of the room arrive.

Let each sound leave without naming it.

You do not need to catch every word or focus hard. Let the words wash over you, and let the mind keep what it needs.

Listen for the farthest sound you can find.

Let that distant sound be only sound.

Now receive the closest sound near you.

Hear the sound of your own breath.

Keep listening as sounds come and go.

Find the two clearest places where your body is being held up, by chair, floor, or ground. Which one carries more weight right now?

Bring up one small matter from this week. Find the concrete condition that matters most, a time, a limit, a commitment, or what you have room for. Which option meets it most cleanly? Name it in two or three words.

Feel the weight of your hands.

Say quietly, I am going with those words. Find the first instant after the final word when your mouth or mind prepares an extra sentence. Let that preparation remain for one full exhale.

Picture the person who may need to hear this. Say the same sentence once in your ordinary friendly tone. After it ends, wait until one sound reaches you. Notice what remains unfinished, and leave it there.

Come back to the ordinary breath. Wake the fingers and toes.

At the next ordinary moment when someone needs an answer, first find both points of support, identify one concrete condition, say one sentence, and wait through one sound in the room before adding more.

If someone questions you, say, This is what fits for me. Let that sentence stand in the air without carrying it further.

Hear the room again, and let the eyes open when ready. Let the mind be as it is as you return to your day.
